Building strategies to reach potential


Taylor’s 4th grade teacher brought some concerns to her parents. The teacher felt Taylor was not working up to her potential. Testing revealed she had processing weaknesses. Sessions focused primarily on auditory processing strategies. Suggestions were also given to the teacher and Taylor’s parents. Thanks to minor changes from her teacher, parent support, and Taylor’s use of her new strategies, she began to receive A’s on every assignment and test. On her final report card that year, she had straight A’s.
